Food labels are increasingly complete with pieces of information which are very important for our health. Despite the attention we put into it, it is not easy to understand all the data they provide us. Images and slogans often mislead us.

For this reason, as part of the "Olona Green Way" project, the second grade students of the "Leopardi" school attended a lesson on how to correctly read labels. The lecturer was Dr. Andrea Fossati, nutritionist, biologist and researcher of Medical Biotechnology at the University of Milan.

It is vital to know how to read food labels in order to buy quality and safe goods and to become informed consumers.
