Release Note - October 2019

At the end of each description you will find the following information:

“Global release” : are features implemented for all users of the platform, although bound to different levels of permission.

“Configurable on request” : are features that require a specific assessment of the real needs of the customer before they are implemented.

New area for the management of the nutritional table

New user interface dedicated to the management of nutritional table data for values of 100 g.
The calculation of the values in the columns (according to the chosen template) is instantaneous: the rounding rules and the structure of the columns are now related to the Market.
Consultation by the user is immediate thanks to the preview available in the monolingual and multilingual versions. The table created is now "ready to use" for any output.

The screenshot shows, at the top, the window for setting the nutritional values for 100 g, from which the other values set in the table are instantly filled in.
Further down, the already formatted monolingual and multilingual previews of the self-generated nutritional table are highlighted based on the previously set values (the same one that will be visible in the product's technical data sheet).

Regulatory management is now more efficient

It is possible to assign a reference market to each single reference; this determines some behaviours related to the specific product such as:

• allergen list applied to the text block "ingredients"
• rules for filling in the nutritional table (templates, roundings, reference values for RI)

Markets and their rules are set during the configuration phase of the customer platform or can be added later in case of addition or modification.

The example shows different outputs of the nutritional table according to the "Market" set and the rules set by default for the specific market.

Enhanced comparison between artworks: no difference escapes

Improvement of the comparison of a previous version of the artwork with the current one, function now available in the "notes" panel.
Among the new features:

• automatic alignment in the case of layouts with different dimensions
• setting the sensitivity level for highlighting differences
• Zoom synchronization in parallel views

The screenshot shows the two types of "view" available: the "standard", which displays the two versions of artwork to be compared and the differences in the third part of the screen to the side; the "zoom" view with the thumbnails to the side and the largest display of possible differences in the center.

Global Release

Label management: control of ALL product languages

If the product is distributed in a country that does not have a specific language pack, it is now possible to define the languages of the label for each reference. The system will automatically create the output to be printed directly on adhesive media according to the defined template.

In the product sheet, in the appropriate field called "Stickering languages" it is possible to insert the languages related to the stickers (and not printed directly on the pack).
In the above example, a type of output generated by the platform is shown.

Database of "textual" contents common to several references

The use of claims, tips, recipes and other characteristic labels on the pack, often common to several references, has led to the creation of "content" type cards in which there are texts such as marketing/dications.
These cards follow their own approval flow and automatically generate text blocks that can be linked to multiple references/product cards.

The single "content" sheet can be translated into multiple languages, approved and linked to multiple references. In this way, a real database of marketing information and labels to be inserted in the packages is built up.

Optimisation of the comparison of "blocks of text" in the reference & pending notifications

In the panel "Comparison of previous versions" of a product, a new column allows you to immediately see the differences in the texts compared to the previous version.
The display of "Pending changes" in the "Status info" panel has also been made more efficient; the single change is displayed in tabular form and reports:

• time/date
• user
• element name
• language
• field and content before/after

Thanks to this update it is possible to obtain a "at a glance" view of all the changes made to the individual fields of the reference.
